When do you start planning for Christmas? Do you like to celebrate Christmas in July? Brown Sheep have partnered with Appalachian Baby Design to create a selection of 7 Christmas Stockings featuring Lanaloft Sport and Nature Spun Sport.

Each of the Lanaloft Sport kits includes skeins of Lanaloft in colors like Roasted Pepper, English Ivy, Manor Grey, Cottage White, and Ironwood . The kits are packaged in a beautiful gift box with a satin ribbon, knitter signature gift tag, and pattern.

The designs include Fox and Forest, Owl, Hare and Holly, Possum and Pine, Winter Hearts, Stripes and Garlands, and Christmas Diamonds  (seen below clockwise starting from top left).

Appalachian Baby Design has also created a kit in Nature Spun Sport for those less inclined towards color work. The Aran Christmas Stocking features textured stitch work interspersed with various cables.

Each Christmas Stocking Kit retails for $59 and holds great gift-giving potential. You can knit the stocking yourself, then give the whole kit to your favorite non-knitter as a gift. Or, you can wrap up the whole kit and give it as a project to your favorite knitter.
