EVEN MORE Baby Knits in Brown Sheep Yarns Vol. 2

The weather has finally turned warm here in the northern hemisphere. So we’re celebrating with another collection of baby knits in Brown Sheep Yarns!

This tradition of sharing cute baby knitting patterns is now in its fourth year. If you don’t find something to love in the 7 patterns featured here, don’t forget to look at our previous entries. There are 25+ additional patterns in Even More Baby Knits in Brown Sheep Yarns, More Baby Knits in Brown Sheep Yarns, and Baby Knits in Brown Sheep Yarns!

Very Chunky Diaper Cover

Designer Jenna Swanson designed the Very Chunky Diaper Cover as a prop for newborn baby photographs. However, if knit with a single skein of Burly Spun, the absorbency of the wool will help keep your newborn bundle dry and comfy.

Daffodil Baby Girl Sweater & Hat

The Daffodil Baby Girl Sweater & Hat features adorable lacy ruffled accents. Knit with just three skeins of Cotton Fleece, the set comes in 6 month, 1 year, and 2 year sizes.

Nordic Kids’ Cardigan

Are you feeling up for a little colorwork knitting? The Nordic Kids’ Cardigan features three colors of Lamb’s Pride in a fetching colorwork design. We love the opportunity to showcase a special selection of buttons and the deep v-neckline, both of which make this cardigan feel easy and fun to wear!

Sherwood

In the mood for something with a lot of texture? The Sherwood Pullover is worked bottom up in the round in a cable and rib pattern that is surprisingly easy to follow. Available in a range of kids’ sizes, the smallest size (2) requires just three skeins of Cotton Fleece.

Hoist the Sails

Hoist the Sails is a seamless top down pullover with thick ribbing at the cuffs, hem, and collar. Grab two colors of Lamb’s Pride to knit the simple, nautical-inspired stripes in the body and sleeves. The shawl collar means this silhouette is easy on, easy off—perfect for your growing bundle of love!

Willow Tunic

The Willow Tunic is a perfect top for spring and summer—and we think it will also layer nicely in the fall. Knit with Cotton Fine, the Willow Tunic features a sweet cascading lace design in the body and a leaf lace design in the bodice.

Toblerone

Don’t let the simplicity of the Toblerone Dress fool you. The pattern includes multiple options for modifying the dress to your child’s liking. Knitters can choose short or long sleeves, and the skirt section is picked up and knit downwards so you can vary the length. Also, we love that the skirt feels like a blank canvas. Add a little lace detail before the bottom, or grab scraps of Cotton Fine to stitch an embroidered design!
