The Winter TNNA Trade Show will be held this January in San Diego, California. TNNA stands for The National NeedleArts Association. TNNA is comprised of professional needle arts businesses, and it is a semi-annual gathering place
for education and sales to businesses that carry yarn related products in their stores. It is only open to store owners and their representatives, and is a wonderful time to see what is new and developing in the industry for promotion in local shops.
Last June we showcased our new yarn, Lana Boucle, at the TNNA marketplace where it was very well received. This January, we will be showcasing the newly released book by Joanna Johnson, Green Gables Knits at Sample It! Joanna has done a fabulous job of designing period pieces that truly represent the images the mind conjures up when reading Anne of Green Gables, by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
We are pleased to be presenting a kit that includes the book, Green Gables Knits, along with two skeins of Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Superwash (in a variety of colors) tucked into a beautiful handmade bag for only $15.00 to “Sample It!” attendees. The yarn in the kit is enough to make “Diana’s Hat," as seen in the photo below. We are also promoting a show special: each store that purchases six copies of Green Gables Knits will also receive a seventh signed copy of the book for free!
We are so pleased that Joanna Johnson chose to feature Brown Sheep Company yarn for all the patterns in Green Gables Knits. We have a wide variety of yarn weights and beautiful true colors to choose from. Come visit us at “Sample It!” at TNNA in January to purchase your kit, then take the time to sit, relax, and enjoy the peaceful inspiration of Joanna’s patterns.
